We map exactly where the damage and the compensation are.
For back, neck, and joint pain that showed up gradually and never fully left: a plan built around the actual cause, not just the ache.
What It Is
Most orthopedic and spine pain does not start with one dramatic moment. It builds slowly: a stiff morning that lingers, a twinge that becomes a limp, a shoulder that quietly stops reaching overhead the way it used to. By the time it is bothering you daily, the original cause is usually buried under weeks or months of compensation.
We start every case with a full movement evaluation early in the recovery process, not just a symptom check. That means we can begin exercise and activity again in the safe range right away, rather than waiting on rest alone to fix it. The goal is repairing what is actually damaged, in the order your body can tolerate it.

Questions, Answered
Your doctor rules out serious causes and can prescribe medication or imaging, but a Doctor of Physical Therapy spends the visit watching how you actually move: what triggers the pain, what eases it, and where the compensation started. That evaluation is what drives your plan, not a generic protocol for your diagnosis.
Not usually. Most orthopedic and spine pain can be evaluated and treated through a movement-based exam. If something we find suggests imaging is actually needed, we will tell you directly and help coordinate it.
Many patients feel some relief within the first one to two visits, though the full plan runs longer depending on how long the pain has been building. We re-evaluate regularly so you always know where you stand.
