Weeks 1–3
Pain
Calm the system.
Hands-on treatment, gentle movement, and an understanding of your pain ease flare-ups.
What We Treat
Pain that has stuck around for months or years, and plenty of people telling you to live with it. A cause-first plan looks for what everyone else skipped.

Why It Happens
Pain that lasts for months is often driven by more than the original injury. Stiffness, weakness, and protective movement habits build up, and the nervous system can become more sensitive, so ordinary activity starts to hurt. None of that means the pain is in your head. It means there’s more than one thing to treat.
A cause-first evaluation looks at how you move, what triggers your pain, and what you want to get back to. The plan builds tolerance gradually, with clear steps, so you can do more with less pain.
The Honest Truth
Nobody regrets starting too early. Every week, someone in our clinic says they regret waiting.
How We Fix It
Every plan has an endpoint. Here’s what the four phases look like for chronic pain.
Weeks 1–3
Pain
Hands-on treatment, gentle movement, and an understanding of your pain ease flare-ups.
Weeks 3–6
Prime
Gradual, planned increases in activity so your body handles more without a flare.
Weeks 6–12
Perform
Strength and conditioning for the specific things you want to do again.
Weeks 12+
Prevent
A long-term plan and a strategy for flare-ups so they don’t knock you back to the start.
Where it starts: years of pain and being told to live with it.
Where the plan is headed: more good days, fewer flare-ups, and the activities you gave up back on the calendar.
Questions, Answered
Here you’re evaluated and treated one-on-one, with a plan built around what’s driving your pain and the specific things you want to get back to. If something hasn’t worked before, we want to know about it so we don’t repeat it.
No. Indiana allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can book your first evaluation without seeing your physician first. If your insurance plan requires paperwork from a physician, we’ll help track it down so it doesn’t hold up your care.
It depends on how long you’ve been dealing with pain and what your evaluation finds. A full plan runs through all four phases, Pain, Prime, Perform, and Prevent, typically over 10–12 weeks. Either way, you get a plan with an endpoint: you’ll always know which phase you’re in and what’s left, not an open-ended string of appointments.
