Weeks 1–2
Pain
Calm the injury.
Hands-on treatment and protected movement settle pain and swelling while keeping the rest of you moving.
What We Treat
A sprain, a strain, or an overuse injury that won’t let you train. The goal isn’t just pain relief, it’s getting you back in the game ready to stay there.

Why It Happens
Sports injuries usually come from a sudden overload, like a twisted ankle or pulled hamstring, or from repeated stress that adds up faster than your body can recover. Strength imbalances, poor movement patterns, and jumping back in too quickly make re-injury more likely.
A cause-first evaluation looks at the injured area and the way you move in your sport. The plan heals the injury and fixes what set it up, so you return stronger and less likely to get hurt again.
The Honest Truth
Nobody regrets starting too early. Every week, someone in our clinic says they regret waiting.
How We Fix It
Every plan has an endpoint. Here’s what the four phases look like for a sports injury.
Weeks 1–2
Pain
Hands-on treatment and protected movement settle pain and swelling while keeping the rest of you moving.
Weeks 2–5
Prime
Full motion, strength, and control in the injured area, side by side with the healthy side.
Weeks 5–10
Perform
Sport-specific drills for running, cutting, jumping, and throwing, progressed until you’re ready.
Weeks 10+
Prevent
A prevention routine that fits your training so you stay healthy all season.
Where it starts: watching from the sideline while your team plays without you.
Where the plan is headed: cleared to play, confident on the injured side, and a routine that keeps you there.
Questions, Answered
We use strength and movement tests that match the demands of your sport, comparing your injured side to your healthy side. You return when you pass them, not just when the pain is gone.
No. We work with anyone who plays, from high school and college athletes to weekend runners, golfers, and adult league players.
It depends on how long you’ve been dealing with your injury and what your evaluation finds. A full plan runs through all four phases, Pain, Prime, Perform, and Prevent, typically over 6–12 weeks. Either way, you get a plan with an endpoint: you’ll always know which phase you’re in and what’s left, not an open-ended string of appointments.
